Dungeon Siege 3 Set for May 27 in Europe, May 31 for North America

Square Enix ousted the release dates for the North American and European arrival for Dungeon Siege 3. The game will first arrive in Europe, May 27, and following with a North American release on May 31.

Available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC, Dungeon Siege 3 has pre-order incentives, mainly in-game items, at specific retailers. Gamestop gets the Burning Hand of Scorch, which increases damage and sets enemies on fire, and the Talisman of the Grand Mage for a mystical attack. Amazon pre orders receive the Bite of the Arakun, a ring that poisons foes. Best Buy gets the Sacred Heart of the Legion amulet for protecting characters in battle.

The digital distribution platform, Steam, recieves the first two Dungeon Siege games for free through preordering the game. Wal-Mart preorders get a mini-comic and a free strategy guide. And finally, the European Limited Edition promises “four unique in-game items to activate on day of launch.”
