Mass Effect 2 DLC ‘Arrival’ Out Today

The final DLC for Mass Effect 2, Arrival, releases today for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms. Bioware has issued a launch trailer showing what situations Shepard will be getting himself/herself into.

Arrival precludes the Reaper invasion of Earth in Mass Effect 3 with Shepard tasked to rescue an undercover operative with evidence of the Reaper’s plans. Admiral Hackett will play a central role in this DLC, who has previously only been present as a voice in the series so far.

The DLC comes at the cost of $7 (560 MS points) and is readily available on the Xbox 360, it’ll hit PC and PS3 later today. Mass Effect 3 is currently scheduled for the 2011 holiday season.
