ZeniMax Media Inc. announced a partnership with the USC School of Cinematic Arts to support its Interactive Media Division. Known as the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax will provide a comprehensive educational program of guest lectures and internships for the school. Students will get a chance to listen to noted developers from Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, and Arkane Studios as they share their experiences in game development.

The partnership will hopefully provide students with a wealth of knowledge as they hope to find careers in video game development, which is a tough business to get into. “I’m eager to see how our students will take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity, and further hone their abilities to create engaging and entertaining experiences for gaming audiences around the world,” said Elizabeth M. Daley, Dean of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
USC was recently rated for having the number one undergraduate, and graduate program for getting into the video game industry. This may be one of the schools to look at for anyone hoping to a get a developing job in the video game industry.
