Batman Arkham City: Penguin, Talia al Ghul, and DLC Episodes

A whopper of news regarding Batman: Arkham City just released out of San Diego Comic Con including a Penguin trailer, Talia al Ghul reveal, and Kevin Conroy mentioning downloadable episodes as post-release content for the game.

When asked in a ComicBooked interview (via Shacknews) about the future of Batman, Conroy responded: “The gaming now is a big, new thing. The thing about Arkham City is that it’s going to be an ongoing game. You’re going to be able to download future episodes of it, so it’s going to be going on for quite a while. I’ve been recording it for a while. So that will continue.”

So it looks like the DLC episodes will either be a continuation of the Arkham City story or a telling other stories in the world, either way it doesn’t look like Warner Bros plans to go the way of Capcom anytime soon.

Speaking of which, Rocksteady announced Talia al Ghul today (courtesy of IGN). Ra’s daughter and Batman’s love interest is coming to Batman: Arkham City and bears uncanny likeness to the voice actress that’s portraying her, Stana Katic from ABC’s Castle.

Batman: Arkham City releases October 18 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
