A new Assassin’s Creed game, exclusive for the PlayStation Vita, was announced Monday night during Sony’s E3 press conference.
The game, titled Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, is set in New Orleans in 1768. Fans will play as Aveline, the series first female assassin.
Liberation is built from the group up to utilize the Vita’s features. Expect touch screen mechanics, as well as functionality for the rear camera and Near feature.
There will also be a few incentives to own both Liberation and PlayStation 3 version of Assassin’s Creed III. Fans can unlock new character skins and other goodies for both titles by tying them together.
Sony also announced a PlayStation Vita bundle that includes Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, and a White Vita. The bundle will launch alongside Liberation Oct. 30, 2012.
