The crazy, chaotic madness that is Just Cause 2 has a multiplayer mod which will be available on Steam for a final beta test from Dec. 7 – 14.
Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod has been a work in progress for years now, and it is FINALLY ready to be released, that is after one last beta test. The multiplayer mod takes the open world free roaming of Just Cause 2 and throws hundreds of players in the same area at the same time. Separate instances with smaller groups (the screenshot above was take at the start of a race with 51 players) can be joined for things like races and demolition derbies. The final beta test will feature full Steam integration and should make for a much simpler setup and playing process. Since this is a mod you will still need the full game in your Steam library to play. Once the beta test has completed it will be released as a proper mod shortly after.
