Gearbox Software is bringing hero based shooter Battleborn to E3 2015 and has detailed 25 playable heroes, new modes, and features in its trailer.
Battleborn’s Story Mode can be played solo or cooperatively up to five friends splitscreen or online. Local splitscreen supports two players and connect to other splitscreen or solo players online.
Experience points earned in Battleborn contribute to the progression of one’s Individual Character and Command Rank. Players can level their character from 1 to 10, swapping out augments and unlocking skins in the process. The Command Rank gives players the opportunity to unlock badges, earn loot, and showcase their achievements to other players.
Finally, three new multiplayer modes have been detailed in Battleborn which include:
Incursion – defend your base, while attempting to take theirs.
Devastation – deathmatch style, capture and hold objectives to win.
Meltdown – defend your minion as they match to the center of the map to be incinerated.
