id Software co-founders John Romero and Adrian Carmack, best known for the ground-breaking DOOM, have announced their return to the FPS genre with their upcoming shooter, BLACKROOM. The game is set to be a “visceral, varied, and violent” shooter, that will harken back to the feeling of classic first-person shooters through its focus on exploration, speed, and intense combat. The game will have both single and multi-player modes, and will be fully moddable on PC.
