Activision has announced a brand new third-person action game, based on the upcoming movie, Ghostbusters. Set after the movie, the new game will feature a new group of rookie Ghostbusters that must protect New York City while the now-famous new Ghostbusters tour the country, battling ghosts. The game will feature couch co-op, with numerous collectibles and upgrades to collect.
There will also be a mobile game, dubbed Ghostbusters: City of Slime, that will have players craft their own proton packs and use asynchronous multiplayer to collect powerful ghosts to rise to the top of the leaderboards.
Ghostbusters is set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on July 12th. For more information, check out the trailer above.
