Stellaris Now In Orbit For Pre-Order

Paradox Interactive has announced that Stellaris, their upcoming sci-fi strategy game, is now available for pre-order. Players can either pre-order the standard edition for $39.99, the Nova Edition for $49.99, or the Galaxy Edition for $69.99.  All who pre-order will receive a set of Stellaris ringtones, and the cosmetic Creatures of the Void DLC, which contains five new alien designs.

The Nova edition includes the game, as well as a 140 minute digital soundtrack, exclusive in-game cosmetic items, and more. The Galaxy Edition includes all of the content from the Nova Edition, as well as a Digital Collector’s Book, the “Stellaris: Infinite Frontiers” eBook, and an exclusive digital wallpaper signed by the development team. Most interestingly, the names of everyone who pre-orders any version of the game will be put onto a USB, which will be connected to a weather balloon, and launched into the stratosphere.

Stellaris will be released for PC, Mac, and Linux on May 9th. For more information, check out the trailer above, as well as the game’s official website here.
