Fire Emblem Gaiden Re-Imagining Marching Onto the 3DS Worldwide

Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for the 3DS at last night’s Fire Emblem Direct conference, a remake of the never-localized NES title Fire Emblem Gaiden. Shadows of Valentia features free-roaming 3D dungeons alongside “classic Fire Emblem gameplay with a modern twist”.

Amiibo of both main characters, Alm and Celica, will be released alongside the game on its launch date.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will be released for the 3DS family of systems on May 19th. For more information, check out the trailer in the Nintendo Direct above.
