New Jump Force Trailer Reveals New One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Hunter x Hunter Characters

At Gamescom this morning, Bandai Namco dropped a massive trailer for Jump Force, their upcoming 3D crossover fighter. The new trailer features six all-new character reveals, while also showcasing the recently announced Hunter x Hunter characters. Gon and Hisoka, Hunter x Hunter‘s main protagonist and recurring antagonist, are shown using their Nen and Bungee Gum abilities. Gon also has the ability to transform into his terrifying adult form from the Chimera Ant Arc.

Alongside Luffy and Zoro, One Piece will be represented by three new characters. Sanji, the pervy chef of the Straw Hat Pirates, uses his flaming kicks and Diable Jambe abilities. Blackbeard, a major villain from the series, uses his Yami Yami no Mi to overwhelm his enemies with literal darkness. Finally there’s Sabo, Luffy’s second brother and a prominent member of the Revolutionary Army, uses his iconic pipe and Mera Mera no Mi abilities.

Finally, Dragon Ball will be represented by the Prince of all Saiyans himself, Vegeta, who is shown using his trademark Final Flash attack. Vegeta’s inclusion was never really in question, as he’s one of the most famous and beloved characters in not only Jump, but anime in general.

Another mysterious character is teased towards the end of the trailer, but their possession of Luffy’s Straw Hat seems to imply that it is some sort of avatar or custom character, though nothing has been confirmed.

Jump Force is set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. For more information, check out the trailer above, and stay tuned to MonsterVine for all the latest news on Jump Force.
