Close to the Sun Launches On the Epic Store Next Month

Wired Productions and Storm in a Teacup have just announced that Close to the Sun, their electric horror-adventure game, will be releasing next month exclusively on the Epic Store.Though it won’t come to the PS4 or Xbox One until later in the year, Close to the Sun will release for the PC exclusively on the Epic Store on May 2nd. or $29.99, players will be able to explore the Helios, an enormous scientific vessel that exists in a world where Nikola Tesla changed the world forever, for better or for (judging from the “horror” genre) worse.

Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions, commented on the announcement:

May 2 can’t come quick enough for us. Our partnership with the amazing team at Epic Games has not only accelerated the development process of
Close to the Sun in terms of accessing the sheer pixel-pushing grunt of Unreal Engine 4, but allowed the
incredibly talented Storm in a Teacup team to showcase their collective talents to deliver a truly
memorable and breath-taking first-person horror adventure.
