Best Soundtrack – Sayonara Wild Hearts
Shannon: This is dope video game music you can listen to in the car and you won’t look like a weirdo weeb.
Danny: I’m one of those weirdos who collect Vinyl records, but I also double down on the weirdo aspect by almost exclusively having my library be OST from video games. Typically, the selection I have is catered across my all-time favorite video games and soundtracks which I listen to while writing. Sayonara Wild Hearts was unique in that I immediately purchased a record of its pop-inspired soundtrack after listening to its eclectic first song.
Diego: The best gaming music is the kind you can’t seem to get out of your head even when you’re listening to other things. Simogo had a vision so defined that they were able to take their game concept and turn it into a total audio-visual experience that leaves you bumping your head to some of the best synth-pop I’ve heard in years.
