Best Soundtrack – Final Fantasy VII Remake

Spencer: The soundtrack to the original Final Fantasy VII is one of the best ever, so it makes sense that the Remake’s soundtrack is just as fantastic. So many iconic themes have been remade in stunning new ways, making them feel familiar but new and exciting. I can’t wait to hear the other remixes in the next parts of the game, as I’m still jamming to the Remix’s tracks months later. 

Samantha: I’ve always been a huge fan of Final Fantasy music, and Final Fantasy VII is one of my favorites. Hearing those songs remade and remixed for the Final Fantasy VII Remake was incredible, and there was more than one point where recognizing a favorite song (especially as the music progressed from stage to stage in a certain late-game boss fight) brought me as much delight as anything else in the game. Playing later songs from the original on the jukeboxes was a nice touch, and I can’t wait to hear the music in the next game(s).
