Shin Megami Tensei V Arrives on Switch This November

At today’s Nintendo E3 conference, we finally got a closer look at the gameplay of Shin Megami Tensei V. The new trailer that we received goes into detail on the Press-Turn system that the Shin Megami Tensei franchise is known-for. By exploiting enemy weaknesses, players can earn extra turns to turn the tide of any battle, but beware, as demons can take advantage of this very system too. Also notable in the trailer is the fact that demons are now visible while roaming, which expands upon the non-specific field models of Shin Megami Tensei IV. Shin Megami Tensei V is set to release for the Nintendo Switch on November 12th.

In Shin Megami Tensei V, you play as a young high-school student who suddenly finds themselves in a demon-infested wasteland. Using your newfound powers and whichever demons you recruit, you must survive your time in this dying world while forging your own destiny.
