Return to Monkey Island Was Announced, and Ron Gilbert is Making It

Devolver Digital and Terrible Toybox have announced Return to Monkey Island, the long-awaited next entry in the Secret of Monkey Island series.

Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman have written the game, while the music has been done by Michael Land, Peter Mcconnel, and Clint Bajakian. There’s not a ton of info at the moment, but a short teaser was released.

The short teaser/announcement trailer shows a ghostly skeleton playing the fiddle, as another one stacks crates in front of a pirate ship.

For more information on Return to Monkey Island, check out the trailer above as well as the game’s official website.
