Grounded’s 1.4 update will be released simultaneously on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch on April 16th.
The Fully Yoked update is the final for Grounded and brings new cosmetic items, a crafting station, and New Game Plus.
Obsidian has partnered with UK-based studio, Double Eleven to port Grounded over to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. New Game Plus promises an “infinite loop” with harder enemies, upgradable candy-infused weapons and gear, and a different visual experience each time they play.
Over 20 million players have played Grounded so far and the developers hope to bring in new players into its community survival game through crossplay and shared user-generated content. Obsidian has been leaning on player feedback to provide quality-of-life updates for Grounded.
