Marvel Snap’s Latest Season Introduces Symbiote Spider-Man and New Cards

Second Dinner, the team behind the card game Marvel Snap, recently released its latest season. This time, the latest season is tied to Spider-Man instead of taking inspiration from the Young Avengers. The cards and new locations further reflect this with the newly introduced Symbiote Spider-Man, which introduces a new ability to the game.

As mentioned, the Symbiote Spider-Man is a new 4/6 card and is currently one of the only ones in the game with the Activite ability. This new feature allows you to choose when its power triggers will appear when they see the “Activated” message. As for Symbiote Spider-Man’s ability, when triggered, it merges with the lowest-cost card and copies its text as if it had just been revealed.

Symbiote Spider-Man isn’t the only card being introduced this season. Others include the 1/1 Silver Sable. She has an On Reveal ability that steals two powers from the top card of your opponent’s deck. Madame Web also debuted as a 2/1 Ongoing card that allows users to move their cards away from each turn. Arana, a lesser-known Marvel hero, will also be usable. They’re a 1/1 activate card. When triggered, it’ll give the next card you play two additional powers and move it to the right. As for the last card, there are none other than the Scarlet Spider. This 4/5 card is another activate card. When triggered, it’ll add an extract clone to another location.

The new locations include the Brooklyn Bridge, and when this is on the playing field, you can’t play cards here two turns in a roll. And Otto’s Lab will be the other location. When cards are played here, it’ll pull a card to the enemy side from their hand.

Of course, the latest season also introduces new avatars, emotes, and card backs for players to use. Marvel Snap is a free-to-play game that can be downloaded on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
