Koei Tecmo and Gust have unveiled a new trailer for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, offering a deeper look at the continent of Aladiss, its ruined cities, hidden laboratories, and strange new tribes. Set to launch on March 21, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, this latest entry in the Atelier series follows alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt as she joins the Aladiss Research Team to uncover the truth behind a long-forgotten catastrophe.
A Journey Through the Fallen Continent of Aladiss
Guided by the Order of Eustella, Yumia and her team will traverse three distinct regions of Aladiss, each home to forgotten ruins, unique civilizations, and powerful foes.
Ligneus – The Forested Frontier
Yumia’s journey begins in Ligneus, a region of lush plains and dense forests where the Aladiss Research Team has set up its first base. Once home to skilled alchemists, its abandoned research facilities and laboratories hold valuable secrets waiting to be uncovered.
Key Locations:
- Arbor Botanical Garden – A sprawling overgrown greenhouse once used for alchemic botany.
- 8th Laboratory – A forgotten facility where ancient alchemical research was conducted.
Sivash – The Land of Fungi and Ancient Tribes
A paradise for mushroom lovers, Sivash is an otherworldly region dominated by fungal flora. Here, Yumia encounters the Welleks, a demihuman people, and the Neru, a tribe of mysterious, intelligent monsters with umbrella-like mushroom features.
Key Locations:
- Preces Cathedral – A sacred structure at the heart of the Welleks settlement.
- Hermea Academy – The ruins of an ancient school, once dedicated to alchemical knowledge.
Auruma – The Industrial Ruins of a Lost Civilization
Once a thriving industrial city, Auruma is now a metallic graveyard, filled with scrapped machines and towering ruins. It was once the technological heart of Aladiss, powered by mana-based engineering.
Key Locations:
- Mana Transposing Furnace – A once-powerful mana refinery, now eerily silent.
- Commercial District & Station – A deserted trade hub, overrun by nature and scavengers.
During their travels, Yumia’s team will encounter the Geni tribe, bird-like humanoids with feathered bodies and sharp beaks, whose history is entwined with the city’s collapse.
