WhisperGames and developer Dank Hearts have revealed their next atmospheric adventure, Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo, a psychological puzzle game that will launch on PC via Steam in Summer 2025. Revealed during this year’s Indie Live Expo, the game combines escape room tension with character-driven drama, set in a crumbling world where survival depends on unlocking the secrets of the past.
A Puzzle Drama Where Survival and Self-Discovery Go Hand in Hand
Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo kicks off with two strangers—a boy and a girl—waking up trapped in a flooded underground tunnel. With no memory of how they got there, their only way out is through cryptic puzzles and the gradual recovery of lost memories. But they’re not alone. As the story unfolds, you’ll follow six interconnected teenagers in a surreal metropolis, each haunted by trauma, identity struggles, and a race against time.
Players can expect around 15–20 hours of gameplay packed with layered puzzles, narrative twists, and courtroom-style logic battles that force you to think—and feel.
Features at a Glance
- Layered Puzzle Design: Ranges from color-matching and rhythm-based puzzles to music theory and logic duels.
- Six Interwoven Stories: Explore powerful themes of trauma, memory, and emotional healing.
- Surreal Visuals: Environments shift to reflect each character’s inner world.
- Multi-Language Support: Available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese at launch.
