Weeks after ex-Kojima Productions employee Ryan Payton confirmed another Metal Gear Solid title was in the works, publisher Konami may have confirmed its reality with a trademark filing for the phrase Metal Gear Solid Existence.
The registration provided no further details, although applications were made in both the US and Japan.
Kojima Productions earlier this year brought forth the end of Solid Snake’s saga with the release of the stealth-action title for the Playstation 3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Payton stated that the Metal Gear series would not end there as it had “a lot of room for filling in the gaps as far as [series antagonist and MGS3 lead] Big Boss is concerned.”
