Sleeping Dogs Gets a Hollywood Cast

Sleeping Dogs may be a bit starstuck. Square Enix has released more information about the ensemble cast playing the characters and it’s all gone Hollywood. Frankly, it fits the Hong Kong styled cinema of the game. Will Yun Lee voices the main character, Wei Shen, in addition to a supporting cast that includes Edison Chen, Emma Stone, Lucy Liu, and Kelly Hu.

“Sleeping Dogs features over two hours of rich dialogue in a story inspired by some of Hong Kong’s finest films,” said Stephen van der Mescht, executive producer at United Front Games in a press release. “As huge fans of the genre we knew exactly who we wanted; we knew who could bring the script to life. The end result is fantastic.”

Sleeping Dogs releases August 14, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
