Release Date Revealed for Arise: A Simple Story

Techland Publishing and Piccolo have announced the release date for their emotional upcoming 3D platformer, Arise: A Simple Story. Set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store, Arise is a platformer that has you navigate an elderly man through limbo, where he relives memories from throughout his life using time-manipulation as he travels towards the afterlife.

Alexis Corominas, one of the founders of Piccolo, commented on the upcoming title:

“Arise is an emotional journey through a lifetime full of bliss and sorrow, ultimately a tale everyone can relate to. It allows you to explore the many seasons of life illustrated by evocative environments, and relive memories with the help of a unique time manipulation gameplay mechanic. Our goal is to let players reminisce and reflect on their own lives as they progress through the story.
