Best Atmosphere – Ghost of Tsushima
Spencer: Every moment of Ghost of Tsushima was captivating, largely due to the excellent atmosphere. Tsushima itself is remarkably immersive, as the visuals and sound design give you a sense of relaxation despite the game itself being so tense. It’s impressive, and it makes Ghost of Tsushima truly stand out.
Sean: I did not play this, but it looked cool and apparently felt cool. COOL!
Diego: I don’t think I’ve ever spent so many hours in a game’s photo mode as I did with Ghost of Tsushima. I’ve taken dozens of screenshots from the game and what’s crazy is that for the most part, I didn’t really even need to mess with the settings; the game is just that gorgeous, to begin with.
Frank: The amount of time I spent just looking at things in photo mode, or running off in a random direction just because the light hit me and my horse perfectly as I galloped through tall grass and it was just zen as it gets. From things like that, to the way it embraces old samurai movies and much more, Ghosts of Tsushima shows that you can make something amazing with the right moving parts.
