Stray Kite Studios has released a trailer revealing a new fantasy tactics game titled Wartorn.
The trailer shows off the title’s dynamic combat and many of the mythical monsters that inhabit its world. According to a press release, it features destructible environments, a slow-time feature, a roguelite progression system, and more. The game is set to release in early access on Steam and the Epic Game Store at some point in 2025, though no specific release date has been set at this time.

What is Wartorn about?
“Set in a fantasy realm torn apart by extremism and the unraveling of ancient bonds, Wartorn follows an extended family as they fight to reunite and survive,” reads the game’s description. “Players will make tough decisions, from choosing who gets fed to deciding which lives can be saved, all while confronting the moral quandaries of violence and sacrifice.”
