Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 3 Announced – Bigger Battles, More Brutality

The Warhammer 40,000 universe is about to get even more brutal. Focus Entertainment Publishing, Games Workshop, and Saber Interactive have officially announced that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is in development. Following the massive success of Space Marine 2, the third entry in the series aims to deliver an even more immersive and large-scale action experience that stays true to the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40K.

More Brutality, More Battles, More Warhammer

With Space Marine 2 still receiving updates and new content, Focus Entertainment is wasting no time in preparing the next evolution of the franchise. While details are scarce, the developers have teased:

  • An Epic Campaign – Players can expect a story-driven experience packed with cinematic action and relentless combat.
  • Multiplayer Mode Returns – No Space Marine fights alone. Multiplayer battles are confirmed, though the exact details remain under wraps.
  • Bigger and More Spectacular Battles – Saber Interactive promises to push the limits of large-scale warfare, bringing the most intense, brutal action yet to the Warhammer universe.

A New Benchmark for Third-Person Action

Both Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive see Space Marine 3 as an opportunity to redefine third-person action games, with Saber CEO Matthew Karch calling it a “true love letter to the Warhammer 40,000 universe.”

“Space Marine 2 has proven to be a transformative game for Saber… We will take all our learnings and apply them to an even bigger and more spectacular game for the third installment.” – Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive

More Details to Come

For now, Space Marine 3 has no release date, but with Saber Interactive still committed to supporting Space Marine 2, expect the third entry to take its time in development. More details will be revealed in the future, so stay tuned as the next chapter of the Emperor’s war unfolds.
