Treyarch, the developers who previously worked on Call of Duty 3, released screenshots of upcoming Call of Duty iteration World at War detailing new environments never seen before.
In addition to the playing as a United States Marine in the Pacific Theater, players will also take the role of a Russian soldier in the Eastern Front. Built on the same engine as Call of Duty 4, Treyarch promises to bring a similar experience to Call of Duty 4 veterans by including an experienced based multiplayer system.
Call of Duty World at War is coming to PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 2, and Nintendo DS this fall. Release date is still tentative.
