During the Take 2 Press Conference today, 2K announced new details for Bioshock in regards to the exclusive DLC for the Playstation 3.
The company announced “challenge rooms” that will allow players to use plasmids and other abilities in order to overcome obstacles.
The DLC will be accessed through the main menu and will feature a timer at the beginning of each challenge as the player will be faced with a puzzle.
A carnival themed level was shown off to exemplify the challenges as the player had to complete carnival games that included using plasmids in order to throw tennis balls into crates, a safe puzzle that was protected by trap bolts that involved the player to use telekenesis to remove the bolts, and solving a series of mini-puzzles in order to save a Little Sister from a malfunctioning ferris wheel
