At E3 2008, we saw a Resistance 2 gameplay video. It showed some very hot Leviathan boss-action right at the start, it tosses you around like crazy and you traverse through a building. The Leviathan looks grossly new and very well done. It ends with Nathan being told to lure the Leviathan under the bridge.
Resistance 2 takes place in 1953 America. In 1951, Chicago was lost and has been a living space for Chimera, who now protect Chicago. The huge enemy ships are sending down creatures that are spreading viruses and Nathan Hale is actually more like the enemy than the people he’s trying to protect.
Resistance 2 has 8-player online co-op, 60-player massive online game modes and you can actually board Chimaran alien ships.
