When We Last Left Our Heroine, SparklingBlue…

October 14, 2009 by SparklingBlue Blog 1 Comment

…I was frantically planning all I wanted to do to celebrate the re-launch: write up a review of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, devise new serials (and possibly a return of the ones that were stopped), and possibly some brand new ideas.

So despite all the other commitments my adversary Real Life thew at me, I have safely returned. Gone are the daily Newswires, and in their place, I’ll be talking back at the gaming headlines and wanting to know your .02 on them as well.

In addition, I’ll be beginning some all new serials, writing reviews (under the heading “SparklingBlue Plays”), and maybe putting up videos of my gaming prowess (or lack thereof)

It’s good to be back, and I’m ready to rock!

Happy gaming,
SparklingBlue

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
