inFAMOUS 2 Hits In June

inFAMOUS 2 is coming to the PS3 on June 7, 2011 in North America, according to an announcement by Sony. Sucker Punch Productions is back as the team behind the sequel to their 2009 blockbuster, inFAMOUS. InFAMOUS 2 will include a devastating new melee fighting system, destructible urban environments, a vibrant, dense and interactive city with over 100 simultaneous characters on-screen, and more. The game will also introduce advanced elemental superpowers.

inFAMOUS 2 once again follows Cole MacGrath as he continues his journey down the coast to New Marais. His choices this time will greatly affect the story and gameplay, allowing for two separate endings to the game. Cole will once again traverse the city with his dynamic parkour moves.

You can pick up the regular edition of the game for $59.99, or you can shell out $99.99 for the Hero Edition that comes with a detailed, 8.5 inch Cole statue, a replica of Cole’s sling messenger bag, the inFAMOUS mini comic from DC Comics, and a collector’s edition soundtrack with bonus tracks, as well as vouchers for in-game exclusives.
