The original Xbox controller is probably returning for a limited run, according to 343 Industries. Giant Bomb, in an interview with Alison Stroll, confirmed that 343 is attempting to revive the original Xbox controller to be used with Xbox 360. The plan is to have people modify a few controllers for a Halo Anniversary themed fest at PAX.
“After PAX, the controllers will be boxed up. They’ll emerge once more to be featured as part of the annual Child’s Play dinner auction.” However, the project has not been green lit yet but in a post-Duke Nukem Forever world anything is possible.
