Sony Online Announces Free To Play First Person Shooter, Bullet Run

Today, Sony Online Entertainment announced Bullet Run, a free-to-play first person shooter for PC set for release this Summer. Bullet Run emphasis is on team-based multi player, placing players as contestants in a ultimate reality TV game show.

Matches can host up to 20 players at a time with various modes and a starting line up of six maps. Weapon customization and “vanity” items to style up your character are available. There is the standard leveling up, earning perks and abilities thing but the unique feature that stood out to me is the active reload, a la Gears of War, which is a nice touch for the genre.

Developed by ACONY Games, Bullet Run is expected for release in the Summer. If you’re curious, check out the official website for beta registration details and more information.
