PlayStation Mobile – Free Games for Six Weeks


Six free games over the course of six weeks are coming to PlayStation Mobile service starting this week with Samurai Beatdown.

Just because the holidays are over, doesn’t mean the deals need to stop and Sony agrees. Owners of PlayStation certified mobile devices (for a list of devices go here) or a PlayStation Vita are being offered one free game a week for six weeks.

This week’s game is a rhythm action game called Samurai Beatdown. The players use their touch screens to tap either the left or right of the screen in order to slice their way through attacking enemies until they reach the end of the level.  This game will only be free until the next PS Store update on the 22nd so grab it while you can. To download the game from your Vita, just head to the PlayStation Mobile section of the store. From your phone just launch the PSM app and search for the game.

If you don’t have a PlayStation certified device, there is still a way to install PSM if your Android device is rooted. The team at Android Police have easy to follow instructions:
