ChangYou.com has announced that the Renaissance Heroes beta will launch January 22, 2012 and continue until February 6th. The beta introduces a European server, new game elements, two new characters and maps, and a new game mode. Players will have the opportunity to earn prizes in daily events.
Renaissance Heroes takes place in an alternative history where Leonardo da Vinci has created a machine that can change the world. In his death, plans and pieces of the invention were scattered and warring factions are now vying to claim them as their own. Renaissance Heroes is a online multiplayer first-person shooter and takes place in 16th century Renaissance Europe.
