Yoshi is getting a new game coming to Wii U thanks to the Kirby’s Epic Yarn team and with help from Takahashi Tezuka.
One of the biggest surprises from today’s Nintendo Direct was hearing about a new game starring Yoshi. While we saw this art style back in 2010 with Kirby’s Epic Yarn we haven’t seen a Yoshi game since Yoshi’s Story on the N64 back in 1998.
With the help of Tezuka (director of Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Story) we will hopefully see something that offers a little more complexity than Epic Yarn.
No release information on this one yet, but expect to hear more on Yarn Yoshi as E3 approaches.
