The video game industry in the last few years has pumped out titles that rival some of the biggest Hollywood summer blockbusters. As games like Call of Duty, Halo, Uncharted and Gears of War have proven in the current generation of consoles, the large action set piece moments are no longer exclusive to the movie industry. But these action scenes and power story lines are the only elements of the Hollywood indsutry that video game companies have mirrored. The economics powering the decisions on what games are released and not released are similar to Hollywood.
