New Monster Hunter Video Features Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley

Capcom has released a new Monster Hunter video about the world of the popular game series, which is hosted by Star Wars sequel trilogy star Daisy Ridley.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise, the video goes into the wild world of Monster Hunter and its many powerful monsters and regions. Ridley discusses the importance of monsters to the ecosystem of the game world, as well as the relationship between monsters and the hunters that battle them. Footage from all throughout the franchise is shown, further celebrating the monumental 20th anniversary.

What do you do in Monster Hunter Wilds?

“Dynamic, ever-changing environments. A story of monsters and humans in a world with two faces: one in which the lands are harsh and unforgiving, where monsters fight for scant resources—and another in which the lands are vibrant and brimming with life,” reads the game’s description. “You play as a professional monster hunter, protecting the balance of the ecosystem and hunting monsters. Use the resources you gain from hunts to craft ever more powerful weapons and armor in your quest to unravel the mysteries of the new lands.”
