Blacksea Odyssey and Mastertronic has announced a new top-down shoot-em-up, dubbed Blacksea Odyssey. Alongside the premise of harpooning giant space creatures, key features of the game are set to include:
– Rogue-Like Elements – Permadeath, procedurally generated levels, and a steep difficulty curve.
– Massive Boss Battles – Hunt giant creatures over five times the size the your screen.
– An Expansive Customization System – Arm yourself with a customized arsenal of rune-infused spears: over a million possible rune builds.
– Dynamic Combat – Fully destructible environments and a harpoon that can rip enemies apart.
Blacksea Odyssey is set to come to PC and undetermined consoles in the spring of 2016. For more information, check out the trailer above.
