Egglia: Legend of the Redcap Hatches This August

Powerchord Studio and Brownies have announced that they will be releasing their mobile JRPG, Egglia: Legend of the Redcap, in the West this Summer. In Egglia, players take on the role of a gentle elf named Chabo who has fallen from the sky onto the continent of Egglia. Players will explore this new world, restoring the areas of the earth that were sealed away within eggs, all while battling monsters, creating houses, and reaching out to new races.

Notable talents behind the game include composer Yoko Shimomura, famous for the soundtracks for Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XV, and countless other franchises. Egglia creator and art director Shinichi Kameoka commented on the tone of the game:

I believe some people prefer their games to be less violent, especially here in Japan. I hope Egglia can become a refuge for those who seek a more peaceful kind of game.”
