Rayman 3 HD Trailer Brings Back the Nostalgia

Fans and newcomers can enjoy Ubisoft’s Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc in HD graphics. With the addition of online leaderboards, achievements, and mini-games along with 15-20 hours worth of gameplay, its certainly something I’d look out for in the coming months given their release of Beyond Good and Evil HD. Rayman 3 HD hits March 21 for Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

Puddle Releases on Xbox Live Arcade Today

Konami has released Puddle on Xbox Live Arcade today at 800 Microsoft Points. The winner of the GDC 2010 Independent Games Festival Student Showcase Division is now available for download on the Xbox 360 with a Playstation Network release to follow next week on January 31 for $9.99.

Puddle is a physics based puzzle platform game and it was originally developed by six student from the French video game school ENJMIN and was later picked up and developed by Neko Entertainment. (more…)

New trailer for Sine Mora

Shmup fans should take a look at Digital Reality’s downloadable title, Sine Mora, set for release on Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Co-developed by Grasshopper Manufacture (Japan) and Sine Mora (Hungary), Sine Mora is a diesel shoot ‘em up with a time twist. The latest trailer for the game shows the difference between normal difficulty and the INSANE difficulty setting. (more…)

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Revealed for Xbox Live Arcade

Remedy Entertainment has announced Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for the Xbox Live Arcade. Alan Wake American Nightmare is a standalone spin-off experience that anyone can pick up and play, even if they’ve never played the original Alan Wake before.

In Alan Wake’s world, fiction can become real. This time, Alan is fighting his evil double Mr. Scratch, an urban legend come true. He is a supernatural serial killer coming for Wake’s wife, Alice. Wake must stop Mr. Scratch before that happens.

All Zombies Must Die! Finds XBLA Publisher in Square Enix

Square Enix announced it will enter into a publishing deal with doublesix to bring the Xbox Live Arcade version of All Zombies Must Die! for release later this December.

The spiritual successor to Burn Zombie Burn, All Zombies Must Die! features Jack, the main character, living out his video game fantasies in a town filled with zombies. The gameplay allows for one up to three friends to play cooperatively in zombie killing mayhem. The action RPG nature of the game allows players to engage in leveling up, completing side quests, and collecting items to craft new weapons. (more…)

Halo Anniversary Goes Gold for November, Has Kinect Support

The Halo: Combat Evolved remake, titled Halo Anniversary, has finished up shop at 343 Industries and is rapidly being manufactured for its November 15th release date.

New to the Halo series, Halo Anniversary adds Kinect support with voice commands so that shouting “Reload” and “Grenade” will pull the same effect as if you had bothered to lift a finger to press the actual button. The most exciting addition may be its encyclopedic “Libary” feature accessed by saying “Analyze” which pulls up visor to “capture” things in the environment and becomes viewable as a 3D model in a gallery.
