Konami is bringing its starred franchises to the HD consoles: Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders, and Silent Hill.

Both Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be heading to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. At the Konami Pre-E3 event yesterday, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima discussed his new ‘lifestyle’ game project that he’s been working on ever since he made the announcement at last year’s E3. ‘Transfarring,’ is a cross-platform game save system allowing gamers to transfer their saves back and forth from their home console to their portable device. This was demonstrated with PS3 and PSP consoles. The process looked relatively painless, giving users the ability to transfer data via a USB cable. It took nearly 10 seconds for a save file to be transferred from the PS3 to PSP. The first game to use the ‘Transfarring’ feature will be Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD for PS3. (more…)
