A close simultaneous launch on six platforms across four regions helped LucasArts sell 1.5 million copies of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
The Force Unleashed is now the fastest selling Star Wars game and Lucasarts title so far. About 4.3 million copies were shipped to retailers worldwide.
Developed by Lucasarts for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the title arrived in North America on September 16th, following with a Australian and Southeast Asia release on September 17th, and finally a European release on September 19th. Krome Studios handled the PS2, Wii, and PSP versions of the game as well as n-Space who developed the Nintendo DS version.
