GRIN’s Bionic Commando will be coming to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on May 19th, as publisher Capcom has confirmed its official release date.

The 3D update to the classic 2D platformer features swinging through vast open levels with your bionic arm’s grappling hook and punching bad dudes with said bionic arm. The game will also bring multiplayer to the series.

Bionic Commando will revolve around the story of Nathan Spencer, a government operative who was betrayed and falsely imprisoned. When the terrorists detonate an “experimental device” over Ascension City, the government turns to the only person who can save the day and that just happens to be Nathan Spencer.

Capcom promises the PC version of Bionic Commando will be released “shortly after” its console counterparts.
