Jonathan Blow, the creator of widely recieved puzzle platformer Braid, has indirectly announced through job postings that he has entered development for a new 3D “puzzle-exploration” game.
Blow details the new project as “a puzzle-exploration game that is philosophical, and quiet, and is being made for reasons other than crass profit motive.”
As details are sparce for the project, we can infer through the job postings of what won’t be invovled in this “puzzle-exploration” game:
The majority of [your] portfolio should consist of things absent from the following list: Girls With Big Tits; Barbarians Wielding Axes, Covered in Blood; Aliens; Space Ships; Gangsters Getting Shot in the Face; Orcs; Giant Robots; and, of course, Postapocalyptic Wastelands.
I like all of those unfortunately.
