So, I’m sure you know by now about the horrible earthquake that devastated Japan this morning and the ensuing tsunami…
…and I’m thinking of a way for all of us at MonsterVine to help those affected.
Right now, I’m thinking of doing a fundraiser walkthrough (eg. someone plays through a game of their choice, with different achievements/plot points earning different amounts of money. When the game is completed, the money is donated to help the quake victims)
But do you have a better idea? What would you do to help?

Yeah that sounds like a really good idea. If not that we can do something very similar to what Extra Life does. We can play for a set amount of time, and get donations before the event, for example play for 24 hours, and get donations before or after the event. Anything game related sounds good.

I was planning on re-doing Pokemon Sapphire and assigning the Pokemon different dollar amounts in proportion to their rarity (so common ones are worth $5 and Legendaries are $50, for example) each captured Pokemon results in their dollar amount being donated to the pot.
When I finish the game, the pot is donated to help the victims.
