THQ Announces Sequel to Metro 2033, Last Light

In a conference call held by THQ earlier today, 4A Games’ sequel is officially titled, Metro: Last Light, and is set for release in 2012. Metro: Last Light joins the roster of THQ titles coming next year including Darksiders 2, Itagaki’s Devil’s Third, and Warhammer: Dark Millennium Online.

THQ has promised greater support for the Eastern European developer, which saw a quiet launch for Metro 2033 early last year. Metro 2033 is a dystopian series based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novel.
