Bioshock Infinite Explains ‘Tears’

In a dev diary released today for Bioshock Infinite, designer Ken Levine discusses Elizabeth’s ability to manipulate “tears,” basically “windows into other worlds.” The tears represent alternate dimensions and players, as Booker, will be able to use Elizabeth’s powers to make progress through Bioshock Infinite.

In a gameplay sequence, the player can summon a piece of cover to hide behind. The limited nature of using one “tear” at a time makes it so every player’s experience will be different. If you aren’t quite convinced by “tears” what the video below, the last 15 seconds will below your mind.
