E3 2011: Legend of Zelda Wii U Tech Demo Video

Alot of people, me included, were initially confused when we first saw footage of HD Legend of Zelda on the newly announced Wii U. Since it wasn’t formally announced, we figure that Nintendo was testing the reactions of what Link would be like in glorious high-definition and I will admit it garnered my attention.

The tech demo video I posted below doesn’t show off any actual gameplay since its all scripted but gives you kind of an idea of how the next Legend of Zelda will work with the features attached with the Wii U controller: moving, panning the video around, pulling up the map, inventory, and HUD, switching between day and night, and looking on both the Wii U controller and the televsion simultaneously.
